President's Perspective

As we go to press with this issue of The Bridge, we still have several events before the summer vacation season begins:

Tuesday, March 25 there will be a tour of the Sandra Day O'Connor federal courthouse and the U.S. Marshal's Office in downtown Phoenix. This is a chance to see things not generally available, and we encourage those planning to attend to please contact Ed Frick at 623-561-6917

Tuesday April 15 we will have a session on Genealogy.

Tuesday April 22 we will have our HRC Annual Meeting at Moon Valley Country Club. We will introduce the officers and board members that will guide our organization in the upcoming year. We are pleased to announce that George McNeil, former President and CEO of many Honeywell and Bull organizations, will be our guest speaker.

With this issue we are taking reservations for our spring golf outing at Arrowhead CC, on Monday May 12.

I am pleased to report that forty-six people had a very enjoyable Laughlin overnight trip on February 11-12. In response to requests we will have TWO of these trips per year starting in the fall. Circle your calendars --- October 21-22 is our tentative date for the fall.

Also, please note that our fall golf tournament will be Tuesday October 28 at Estrella Mountain golf course.

Please check your calendars, and we look forward to seeing you at these events and outings.

If you have not had a chance to vote for your new board members, there is still time. We have included the ballot again in this issue for your convenience. Please vote AND send in your reservation for the Annual Meeting.
